Fox News & Truth Social: Conservatives Are Cowering In Safe Spaces
There is no left wing bias in academia, media, and culture. Conservatives just don’t debate things in good faith, and are quitters.

The alleged left wing bias in academia really just means that conservative ideology has no basis in fact, and fails to be bolstered with variable-isolating studies, cross-examination, deep reading, field experience, peer review, and critical thinking.
Higher education isn’t a brainwashing. It just slowly turns you liberal as you realize societal problems are much more complex and nuanced than the bumper sticker slogans that conservatives are so much better at creating than liberals.
For one example, it’s simple to believe tax cuts for the rich will trickle down wealth to everyone because conservatives have been saying it with pavlovian consistency for 50 years, but it’s difficult to do deep dives into statistics spanning decades, generations, and specific policies that prove without a doubt cutting taxes for the rich leads to the rich just hoarding more of their money in a societally destructive manner. You can’t put all that on a bumper sticker.
But conservatives hate when exhaustive studies prove their bumper sticker slogans to be wrong and unconvincing, and higher education doesn’t brainwash liberals so much as it motivates conservatives to quit and leave academia when they’re routinely forced institutionally to grapple with wider perspectives. Conservatives leave academia for an alternate reality where their hypotheses don’t ever have to be rigorously tested, challenged, or argued against (at least ever to their faces).
Conservatives quit the mainstream media for the same reasons, and created Fox News as a cable news safe space. They hated how “unfairly biased” the mainstream was against their simplistic political ideology, so they created their own little echo chamber where the only things they had to listen to was praise, agreement, and validation.
Conservatives left Twitter for the same reasons, and have been struggling to make rip-offs like Parler, GETTR, and Truth Social be successful. It’s entirely unsurprising that exclusively conservative cultural companies like Fox and Truth Social are filled with fear-based delusions, paranoia, and the gamut of negativity between racism, misogyny and ethno-nationalism. Their raison d’être is a bad faith, bad sport idea that conservatives are somehow being persecuted just because people don’t agree with them, and that paranoia breeds legitimate persecution on their part against their perceived enemies, hence all the “isms” inherent in their content and ideological worldview.
Conservatives’ awful self-awareness guides their ideas on censorship, free speech, and freedom to the point where they somehow think they’re protecting freedom by banning books and public protests, and crusading for free speech by spewing ugly, offensive, and trollish speech.
Yet their ideas are not persecuted, their ideas are just unpopular, superficial, and often incorrect, and conservatives are too ideologically militant to realize the difference. So conservatives extricate themselves from academia, mainstream cable news, and Twitter for the greener pastures of conservative-exclusive safe spaces.
