Ron DeSantis, Cuck-In-Chief
Jack Smith is giving DeSantis, who is losing the primary, a billion dollar campaign donation by prosecuting Trump, and Ron is STILL brown-nosing Trump.
This was Ron DeSantis’s hastily tweeted response to the latest indictments of Donald Trump:
As President, I will end the weaponization of government, replace the FBI Director, and ensure a single standard of justice for all Americans.
While I’ve seen reports, I have not read the indictment [emphasis mine]. I do, though, believe we need to enact reforms so that Americans have the right to remove cases from Washington, DC to their home districts.
Washington, DC is a “swamp” and it is unfair to have to stand trial before a jury that is reflective of the swamp mentality.
One of the reasons our country is in decline is the politicization of the rule of law. No more excuses — I will end the weaponization of the federal government.
Jesus fucking Christ, I cannot believe this level of audacious, politics-as-a-game cynicism crammed into such spectacular cuckery.
If you don’t know what a cuck is, it’s a reference to cuckold themed porn videos in which a weak man either enjoys watching or is forced to watch his wife have sex with a stronger man, so it’s probably unsurprising that the juvenile insult “cuckservative” has become quite popular in conservative politics to reference allegedly weak Republican officials.
Within this context for the word, Ron DeSantis is a cuck, and his tweet will forever onward be taught on the first day in the 101 course on political cuckery for its submissiveness to Donald Trump.
I have to begin my rant with the tweet’s second paragraph because it’s really the raison d’etre of my outrage. “I have not read the indictment.” Then fuck off. You have no reason whatsoever to tweet. Your reaction to something you did not read is a waste of time to consider. You cannot disagree with something you have not actually read.
Republicans always do this, and they always get a pass on it. For four straight years of Donald Trump’s sociopathic, Swamp-A-Palooza crime spree presidency, Republicans have repeated, ad nauseum, “I did not read his tweet,” “I did not read the whistleblower reports,” “I did not read the impeachment articles,” “I did not read the witness testimony,” “I did not read the judge decisions striking down Rudy Giuliani’s frivolous lawsuits,” “I did not read the January 6th Report,” and now, on almost a weekly basis, we’re listening to a chorus of “I did not read the indictments.” Fuck off, forever.
These jellyfish spine fuckwads have buried their heads in the sand to ignore four-plus years of Trump’s nonstop criming, corruption, obstruction of justice, bank fraud, campaign fraud, election fraud, insurrection, classified document treason, and an attempted coup against our democratically elected 46th president. And this is before we find out what Trump was doing with all those classified documents. Gambling bookies won’t let you bet that Trump was giving them to Saudi Arabia because the odds are too high.
Which is why Ron DeSantis is the Cuck-in-Chief. He is running for president against Donald Trump, he is quite behind in a very distant second place, and he’s hemorrhaging campaign cash, staff, and poll numbers. He’s losing. A loser. Yet terrified to, even one time, casually remind Republican primary voters that the frontrunner, the guy he really wants to beat, is the biggest criminal in US history.
Jack Smith is giving Ron DeSantis what amounts to a billion dollar campaign donation investigating and righteously prosecuting Trump, and Ron won’t take the silver platter opportunity to start campaigning like the fighter he pretends to be. His dainty dances around upsetting or mildly criticizing Trump makes him more of a ballerina than a fighter.
And the rest of Ron’s tweet is just petty pandering. No human in America has ever been involved in so many different, asburdly criminal investigations at the same time. His judges are having to call each other up to strategize how to schedule so many overlapping trials. And the fact that Trump is not already in prison for his lifetime of defrauding nearly everyone he has ever come into contact with is the problem with our justice system. Donald Trump is the second track of justice personified.
And he’s still got more indictments coming! Including, but certainly not limited to, an unprecedented RICO conspiracy prosecution in Georgia. All the swing states Trump tried to interfere with and bully to “find votes” have standing to prosecute him, and he’s lucky most of them do not want to spend the time and money litigating against his sociopathic lies and perpetual legal subterfuge.
There’s no end to his legal problems, and the DeSantis campaign is all but venerating Trump’s legal woes as a nouveau crucifixion.
Ron won’t point out to the GOP primary electorate how Trump is grifting the entire party, and burning nearly all his campaign donations on his legal fees, despite allegedly being a billionaire. Trump is defrauding the entire GOP base, and costing the party tens of millions of dollars intended to help defeat Joe Biden. Trump has absolutely no loyalty to the GOP, and is uninterested in Republican politics beyond grifting its voters.
And it’s so rich of Ron DeSantis to claim Joe Biden is weaponizing the federal government. Ron’s whole “fighter” schtick — from his pyrrhic war against Disney, to threatening to sue Bud Light, to editing out slavery from school history books, to banning people from acknowledging the existence of homosexuality — Ron’s entire political agenda and resumé as governor is weaponizing the government of Florida.
The most complicitous aspect of Ron’s beta defense of Trump is the line “…it is unfair to have to stand trial before a [Washington DC] jury…” because it helps Trump defame and degrade the reputation of our justice system finally holding Trump accountable in the eyes of GOP voters. The basic organizing aspect of every legal system in the world is that your trial takes place where you committed the crime.
What Ron really means is that DC has more liberal voters, so therefore it’s unfair to Trump unless he gets a loyalist jury full of MAGA Republicans. That’s a second track mentality of justice, and, if Trump wanted to be tried in a much more loyalist West Virginia district, he should have done his January 6th coup attempt at an Appalachian Ku Klux Klan rally rather than the Capitol. Plus, Trump is already getting a jury in his home district in Florida because he committed crimes there, hoarding state secrets in boxes in a bathroom at Mar-a-Lago.
So way to go, Ron. “I have not read the indictment.” The only good thing about the increasing inevitability of the lunatic primary voters in the GOP deciding to nominate serial criminal Donald Trump a third time is that we’ll get to watch Ron DeSantis lose.
Thanks for your eyeballs!
