The House Judiciary Committee Republicans has finally deleted what might be one of the most infamous tweets in history: “Kanye. Elon. Trump.”
Just three words, crafted to own the libs, with hilarious timing right before all three of them had the worst month of any Americans.
Kanye West, or Ye, is truly going off the deep end. His god complex and career change into Christian revivalism have veered hard into conspiratorial anti-Semitism as America’s most vocal racial warrior blaming Jews for all of his life’s problems, and accusing them of being pedophiles. Yet he’s hanging out with infamous neo-Nazi, white supremacist, misogynist, and creep Nick Fuentes, and apparently has Milo Yiannopoulos on his payroll. The ironies are many given that Nick Fuentes wants America to be a whites-only nation, and Milo has identified as Jewish and condoned pedophilia in the past.
And then Ye went on Alex Jones’s InfoWars show to exclaim his love for Adolph Hitler. Imagine going on Alex Jones’s show and being so publicly deranged that Alex Jones suggests you backtrack and do damage control.
Elon Musk is wrecking Twitter and has replaced Donald Trump as America’s top Internet troll. Despite being CEO of several companies alleging to be doing the most visionary work in human history, Musk has become the most annoyingly very-online person we know. His tweets and replies are a 24-hour carnival ride of bad humor, creepy Alt-Right memes, pleas for people to use Twitter more, and now ignorant whining that any advertiser who doesn’t want to pay the richest person on Earth to place their ads next to Kanye West posting swastikas and praising Hitler is somehow infringing upon the First Amendment.
Musk is lucky his crypto-bro ride-and-die admirers hoping to cash in on one of his future pump-and-dump schemes are idiots and don’t understand that the First Amendment ONLY applies to the government stopping your speech. It has nothing to do with private companies refusing to do marketing business with another company.
Meanwhile, Musk’s companies are struggling in ways his Alt-Right-ification threatens further business decline. Tesla made most of its profits last quarter merely from selling emissions credits to other manufacturers, a source of income that will soon be drying up as every manufacturer is in the process of shifting toward electric vehicles, and some timely Bitcoin trades. It’s extremely ironic that the consumer demographic most interested in buying environmentally-friendly cars, liberals, are the ones Musk is going out of his way to antagonize on a daily basis. In a few years, will Tesla merely be a crypto-trading company?
Yet Donald Trump is having the worst month of all. His legal defense efforts are all floundering as House Democrats finally received his long-sought tax returns; the judicial machinations of his personally picked hack judge, Aileen Cannon, to delay the DOJ’s investigation of the top-secret documents Trump stole and hoarded at Mar-a-Lago with a special master review were humiliatingly invalidated; the election fraud investigation in Georgia is not dying; and Special Counsel Jack Smith is going full steam ahead gathering federal grand jury testimony, recently having former Trump White House counsel Pat Cipollone and his deputy counsel Patrick Philbin testify all day.
Making matters worse for Trump, his poll numbers are continuing to plummet even as he’s the only 2024 GOP presidential candidate to announce so far. Top Republicans, as well as the GOP’s primary voters, are ready for a new leader, and Republicans from Bill Barr to Paul Ryan are openly discussing moving on from Trumpism. The further his primary plurality declines, the more he’s going to lash out and attack his future GOP competitors to win the nomination and try to get more presidential immunity. And the more his support will fade, his Republican legacy will shred, and he will be the big joke and loser he’s existentially terrified of looking like.
What a rollercoaster ride it has been for the GOP’s heroes of the month!
