I agree. Being an adult means making imperfect decisions.

Hillary Clinton would have been a good president. Bernie Sanders’ focus was too narrow. He didn’t listen to anyone, didn’t know, didn’t care about foreign policy.

I’m unclear why the Green Party supports Jill Stein? She seems more a provocateur than an advocate for anything.

Instead of holding Harris or Biden responsible for Netanyahu, let’s talk about the GOP house. They will keep sending funds to Israel.

True, Biden could have vetoed it, but few in Congress would have held Netanyahu feet to the fire. Sometimes it comes down to just the least bad choice.

If you want to punish Democrats by voting Trump or Stein, you’ve not helped Palestine one bit. If your feelings of morality superiority outweigh practical decisions you’re a fool.

Your quote "sometimes it comes down to just the least bad choice" I think explains more of politics than we like to imagine.

I am sick of the whole Middle East quagmire. We have no control over what Netanyahu does, nor is there any easy path for us going forward to both continue to support Israel and a two state solution, but that is the right thing to do. Anyone who thinks a trump kleptocracy will improve the Israeli-Palestinian situation seriously needs psychiatric help

She went to Russia and had dinner with Putin, for crying out loud. That is past the line for anyone who is supposed to want what's best for America

It sure is suspicious she did that.

Excellent column! Yes, these morally self-congratulatory head in the clouds lala land types think that not voting for Harris/Walz will accomplish anything remotely close to what they want? Just as delusional as MAGAs. Have a cup of reality, you airheads.

Hey y'all. Firstly, great article! Now, if you're in a swing state and want to vote your conscience (possibly 3rd party), but also know that stopping Trump is a top priority, you can check out Swap Your Vote (https://www.swapyourvote.org), which I recently stumbled upon. They will double your protest vote, but in a deep blue state, while helping you stop Trump in key swing states. This ensures that we don't have 4 years of a Trump presidency, which would certainly be worse for the climate and the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, but also puts even more pressure on Democrats in blue states. They match you with two voters within an hour, and it works.

Not sure if she hates Jews but it is a kind of surprising development that David Duke would go green. Trump really has scrambled our politics.
